With a lot of hopes and dreams to be realized, 130 young and bright boys, rescued from difficult situations and from different corners of India, Burma, Nepal, and Bangladesh get shelter in Balamandira Government Home, Bengaluru. As part of #ProjectAnkur, We had always dreamt of cultivating a Nutrition Garden for them, grow fresh organic tomatoes, capsicum, chilies, cucumber, brinjal, greens and more, for in-house consumption and provide them with a peaceful place to nurture the plants as they look forward to a bright tomorrow. And this morning, the team of Subex helped us realize that! With their hands in the earth, head in the sun and heart with nature, we could, together, transform an entire patch of land into a beautiful nutrition garden. Thankful as much as we are, we are equally hopeful that the enthusiasm of these children continues as they water their seedlings every morning and our professional gardeners boost the harvest through periodic intervention.
