Applied Materials India organized a dedicated one-day CSR activity for its New College Graduates (NCGs) who joined the company on July 1st, 2019. In collaboration with United way Bengaluru (UWB), Applied Materials NGO partner, the 43 NCGs visited Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology and planted around 300 saplings, cleaned the dedicated area and collected ~1.3 tonnes of waste. The NCG volunteers also distributed fruits at the Kids Cancer Block.
