Holi is not only an auspicious occasion for Indians but is one of the biggest social event India holds each year. However, while we devote ourselves in the fun of the event, we often forget about celebrating it responsibly. Use of synthetic colours and unregulated use of water during the festival is a matter of grave concern. The situation becomes more alarming as it is young children who play Holi the most and thus get exposed to these harmful chemicals the most Water is one of the most endangered natural resource and lack of usable water is a big time crisis around our country. As a responsible citizen it is our duty to use water wisely and educate others about the crisis. As a volunteer, we recommend using organic colours and limited use of water keeping in mind the ripple effect it creates while we fight issues like global warming, pollution, contamination of water and water carried diseases.Lets celebrate natural and Organic Holi with a hope to make a better world for tomorrow.
